The next animated highlight will make a big appearance on the streaming feature in March.
Disney has reported it’s launching Raya and the Last Dragon on streaming servicing Disney Plus simultaneously as it’s delivering the energized film in venues on March 5, 2021.
Disney uncovered the news Thursday during a financial specialist introduction enumerating Disney’s general streaming technique for the following year and past, including plans for Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Plus, in addition to global real time features Star and Disney Plus Hotstar.
It follows Disney releasing upcoming Pixar feature Soul straightforwardly on Disney Plus. Disney energized include Mulan likewise went a similar course, however it cost Disney Plus supporters an extra $30 to get to.
“We are pleased to announce that we will release Walt Disney Animation Studios epic adventure story Raya and the Last Dragon through Disney Plus Premier Access at the same time that we debut the film in theaters in March,” Disney said.
Since the film is being delivered on the Premier Access administration, it’s accepted it will cost an extra expense to see the film.
Raya will be voiced by Kelly Marie Tran of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. Voicing Sisu the last winged serpent is Awkwafina. The film will see Raya travel through the Kingdom of Kumandra, which networks together the way of life and grounds of Southeast Asia. It was initially set to be released in November 2020 yet was driven into 2021 by the coronavirus pandemic.
“Raya is a lone warrior who brings together an unlikely gang of sworn enemies” to save the kingdom, said Jennifer Lee, chief creative officer of Disney Animation.
