Enigmatic UK bunch the KLF have surfaced, formally releasing a selection of melodies to streaming services for the first time. The eight-track assemblage Solid State Logik 1 showed up without fanfare on the first day of 2021, almost three decades after they conveyed a crazy execution at the 1992 BRIT Awards, shot assault rifle duds into the crowd, reported “The KLF have left the music business,” and later erased their whole index. (It quickly returned in 2013.)

A small bunch of mysterious flyers in London highlight the appearance on streaming, without adding a lot of setting, as BBC News points out.

Four additional deliveries are arranged, as indicated by a normally gnomic depiction on the band’s YouTube page. They gather songs delivered as the Justified Ancients of Mu and the Timelords, just as the KLF.
